The Broadcast Message page may be reached only by a user at the System level with administrative rights. If you key in a message and click submit, the message will be displayed on in the "Error message" section of every page in the application for every user. Setting up a broadcast message enables you to warn users about imminent changes, such as shutting down the site for servicing.
